Tribute for Greg Boulus :
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Gregory Scot Boulus Jr., lovingly known as Greg, who died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the age of 21. His untimely death has left an immeasurable void in the lives of his family, friends, and the community of Augusta, Georgia—a city he deeply loved and contributed to in countless ways.
Born and raised in Augusta, Greg was the cherished son of Gregory and Christina Boulus and the devoted brother of Sophia and Nicholas. He was a beacon of positivity and purpose—known for his radiant smile, gentle soul, and a heart full of compassion. From a young age, Greg displayed a natural charisma and an unmatched ability to connect with people, regardless of their background or story. He was the kind of person who made everyone feel seen and valued.
A graduate of Lakeside High School, Greg was both academically gifted and deeply involved in extracurricular activities. He excelled in sports, enjoyed creative writing, and was known for his leadership qualities that brought people together. Friends and teachers alike remember him as someone who could light up any room with his energy and enthusiasm, always eager to help others and make the world around him a little bit better.
Greg’s creativity knew no bounds. Whether through art, music, or conversation, he expressed himself with authenticity and passion. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and was working toward building a future where he could make meaningful contributions not only to his own life but to his community. Friends often spoke of his dreams—big, bold, and full of purpose—and how those dreams inspired them to aim higher in their own lives.
What stood out most about Greg was his deep love for people. He had a gift for making others feel loved and understood. Whether offering a shoulder to lean on, cracking a joke to lift someone’s mood, or simply listening without judgment, Greg brought light into every space he entered. His friendships were deep and lasting—he was the person you called in times of joy or need, and he always showed up.
Though his time on earth was far too short, the impact Greg made will be felt for generations. His legacy is one of kindness, resilience, laughter, and love. His sudden departure has left his family and friends reeling, but it has also united a community in remembering and celebrating a life so beautifully lived.
Gregory Scot Boulus Jr. is survived by his loving parents, Gregory and Christina Boulus, his sister Sophia, his brother Nicholas, his grandparents, a large extended family, and an incredible network of friends who considered him family. The outpouring of support and love from the Augusta community has been a testament to the number of lives Greg touched in his 21 years.
A celebration of Greg’s life will be held where family and friends will gather to honor his memory, share stories, and reflect on the joy he brought to all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Greg’s name to local youth mentorship programs or community art initiatives—causes he cared about deeply and supported with his time and heart. Greg’s absence is deeply felt, but his spirit lives on in the laughter of his friends, the warmth of his family, and the hope he instilled in everyone he met. He will forever be remembered not for the tragedy of his passing, but for the beauty of his life.
