Tribute for Jenna Clifford:

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jenna Clifford, a pioneering figure in South African design, who died peacefully on the evening of 20 May 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 65 years old. Earlier this year, Jenna was diagnosed with an advanced stage of cancer—a battle she faced with unwavering courage, grace, and resilience. Despite the severity of her illness, Jenna’s strength never wavered. Her final weeks were spent enveloped in love, gratitude, and dignity, reflective of the way she lived her life.

Jenna Clifford was far more than a jewellery designer. She was an icon, a mentor, a passionate entrepreneur, and above all, a loving mother to her daughters Shayna, Chanelle, and Summer, who now carry her torch forward. With her signature passion and eye for elegance, Jenna redefined luxury with meaning—each of her handcrafted pieces told a story of love, heritage, and human connection.

Over the years, Jenna became a symbol of empowerment for women, using her platform to uplift others and encourage the pursuit of purpose. Her magnetic presence, generosity of spirit, and unwavering belief in people’s potential inspired countless lives. Her life’s work—Jenna Clifford Designs—was not only a business but a heartfelt expression of her values: creativity, kindness, beauty, and above all, love. To the many who had the joy of knowing her personally or through her artistry, Jenna was a radiant force. Her legacy lives on in every gem she touched and every dream she helped spark.

A private funeral will be held with her close family in the coming days, and a public memorial in Johannesburg will follow, to honor and celebrate a life so beautifully lived. Details of the memorial will be shared in due course. Jenna’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of support, prayers, and love during this time. Her life was a gift, and her spirit will forever shine through the lives she touched. Rest in peace, Jenna Clifford. Your light will never fade.
