Tribute for Kyle Poff:

Today, we gather in spirit, in tears, and in love to remember and honor the life of a truly extraordinary soul—Kyle Poff, of Kearney, Nebraska. At 2:13 a.m. on June 24th, 2025, the world lost someone whose heart, spirit, and presence were nothing short of a gift to all who knew him. And while we are left with aching hearts and tear-filled eyes, we also hold fast to the unshakable hope that he is now whole, healed, and free.

Kyle was more than a brother, son, uncle, and friend—he was a light in so many lives. A man who loved fiercely, who gave selflessly, and who stood firmly for his family and those he held dear. His strength, though often quiet, was felt in every kind act, in every embrace, and in every moment he spent lifting others up. He was the kind of man who made you feel seen, heard, and cared for—without asking for anything in return.

His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him. But even in the pain, there is comfort in knowing Kyle is no longer suffering. His eyes can now see clearly. His lungs are filled with the breath of Heaven. His spirit, once bound by earthly limitations, now soars freely. He is perfect again—restored, renewed, and held in the everlasting arms of peace.

To say the world has changed without him is an understatement. The world feels quieter now. Dimmer. Less whole. The laughter he sparked, the strength he offered, and the love he gave—these will echo in our memories forever. Kyle was a man who showed up—for birthdays, for late-night talks, for emergencies, and for those little everyday moments that often pass unnoticed but make all the difference. He showed up with kindness in his voice and a spark in his eyes that made you feel like you mattered. And you did—to him.

To his family, Kyle was a cornerstone. A rock. A protector. His devotion was unwavering. He didn’t just love his family; he fought for them, sacrificed for them, and celebrated them. Whether it was a shared joke at the dinner table or a silent show of support during life’s storms, his love spoke volumes without needing many words. His absence leaves a silence that is deafening—but within that silence is also a deep gratitude for the years we were blessed to walk this Earth with him.

To his friends, Kyle was loyal, funny, dependable, and sincere. He had a way of bringing people together, of making you feel like you belonged. He was the kind of friend who’d drop everything if you needed him. The kind of person you could always count on. His friendship was a gift—pure and true.

It’s impossible to sum up a life like Kyle’s in a few words. He was layered, complex, thoughtful, and brave. He faced trials and challenges that most people never knew about. But he faced them head-on—with grit, humility, and an enduring hope. And even in those hard times, his concern was never just for himself—it was always, always for others.

The beauty of Kyle’s life is not just in the milestones or the big events, but in the countless little moments that he shared with the people he loved. The warm smile when you walked into a room. The random call or text just to check in. The deep conversations about life, God, and the things that really matter. These are the treasures he leaves behind.

To say goodbye feels impossible. But in truth, we are not saying goodbye to Kyle. We are saying until we meet again. For those of us who share the hope of Heaven, we hold fast to the promise that death is not the end. Kyle is now more alive than ever before. In the presence of God, surrounded by peace, light, and love unimaginable, he waits. He is healed. He is whole. And he is rejoicing.

There is something holy in grief—something sacred about the way sorrow stretches our hearts. Kyle’s death has broken something inside us. But it has also opened our eyes to just how much love he gave, and how deeply he mattered. That love, that impact, that legacy—it lives on. It lives on in the stories we tell, in the lessons he taught us, in the strength we now carry forward in his name.

To Kyle: Thank you. Thank you for your compassion. For your unwavering love. For your laughter. For your sacrifices. For being there—always. You were a man of depth, humility, and great heart. We are better for having known you. We are forever changed because of you. And while we ache for the sound of your voice, for one more hug, for one more chance to sit in your presence, we rest in knowing you are now held in perfect peace. No more pain. No more struggle. Just joy. Just light. Just love.

Until we meet again at the gates of Heaven, know this: you are loved beyond words, missed beyond measure, and remembered with every heartbeat.Your memory will live on in us—in every tear we shed, in every laugh we share, in every act of love we do in your honor. You’ve left your mark on this world, Kyle. A mark that cannot be erased. So we say goodbye for now, not forever. Rest well, Kyle Poff. You’ve earned your peace.
